If you’ve passed the test in DKT online, you do not need to make a booking to go to a service centre and apply for your licence. Due to the high interest in the Work and Holiday visa program in some high demand countries, the department has paused application lodgement. This may happen when the cap is nearly filled or to spread out visa application lodgements throughout the program year. You will receive feedback from examiners which will help you determine your readiness for the actual test. You will need to pay the test fee when you select your test date.
Long pauses may result in marks being deducted, particularly if it results in the total test recording going for longer than 20 minutes. If you don’t meet these requirements, you will need to book and pay for a new test.

For details on how to apply online, visit the Work and Holiday (subclass 462) visa. If you need to reschedule (change) your booking, you’ll need to do it at least 2 days before your test to avoid losing your booking fee. If you are eligible for a test review, you can apply for this from your myNAATI account within 30 days of receiving your results. Once you pass the DKT you can apply for your learner driver licence. You can now complete the DKT at home or wherever you can get online.
